Database
Tired of cold calling on the telephone and don't want to
receive addressed advertising through the post? Go to the link above and register by
entering your Fødselnummer - at the telephone sign - 'Reserver deg mot
telefonsalg og reklame'. Then click on the services you wish to stop - post,
telephone, charity calls. However it does take about three months to go through
the system! To stop unaddressed advertising, go to a main post office and
ask for a Nei Takk sticker for your post box.

and it will find the best route and have links to maps if you have to walk.

Weather
Yr.no is the joint
online weather service from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the
Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. It has long and detailed weather forecasts.
